It's a nasty brown sticky ooze, stinks of broken down / burnt oil and petrol fumes.
god knows how much of that crap has been sucked back into the turbo and intake tract in the last 20,000 miles.
Well worth it IMO for those that want to keep their cars for a while.

I'll also have my intercooler cleaned within short. The catch can is an excellent modification for long-term reliability, IMO. And due to the excellent filter the AR design one is for me superior to others. Looks OEM, too.
