I've read that Rain-X is good, but some people say it has stained their paint and left spots on it. I then looked into Prestone De-Icer fluid and couldn't find much info on it.
Which would be the best fluid to use? Maybe just throw in something that's safe for low temps and use it only if absolutely necessary? Then drain out for summer.
Not sure if I'm over thinking this or not, but would like to hear your opinions.
Check out Einszett Anti-Frost Concentrated Washer Fluid
. I am trying it for the first time this year and so far so good. The best thing is that it's bio-degradable so the chemicals aren't going to harm your paint, stain trim, etc.
If you end up trying it out, keep us posted on your thoughts.
