I recently handed back my e92 and now I've had a letter from those HPI people asking me if I would confim mileage, dates I had the car and so-on. My first inclination was to bin it - whenever I've used those HPI people in the past I've always been pissed off at how much a simple check costs and I was inclined to think why should I do their work for them?

Then I thought: If all this stuff is correct and up-to-date then less people will get ripped off.

But why do they charge so much for an enquiry?
