update:

I plugged my amp back in on my way home.
still no sound but the SOS chime/alert did not happen anymore so that means that there is a continuous loop going and that the amp is still being detected. which fuses do i need to check and is this a positive sign of a possible still alive amp?


edit, i checked my fuse box and all 3 fuses come out ok. it was a 5amp, 10map, and 20amp.

unhooked the smaller connector to the amp and it was transmitting the red laser signal. i still havent been able to pull the long connector off of the amp.

the amp doesnt turn on - i came to that conclusion after turning the stereo on and checking it in the trunk. i heard no fan.

do i need to reset something or whatever?
