if the transmission thinks that the pressure is not within range to perform a shift that quickly, it will slow it down as not to cause clutch pack wear. it has to learn the adaption from how the transmission behaves, and the alpina flash clears all the old adaptions, so it needs to relearn, and the shift speeds will slow down unless the valve body is in primo condition
