I am selling a 2008 E90 M3 in which I installed the BimmerTech CIC / Combox kit and I am contemplating removing the CIC components to sell separately. The listing for the vehicle is here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...8#post15738528
The system was purchased in 2012 and includes:
1) CIC Navigation retrofit (includes head unit, display, controller, and all necessary cables / connectors)
2) Combox Media PnP Retrofit (bluetooth phone, data, messages, and audio)
3) 6NR ConnectedDrive Retrofit (iPod audio / video control, including album cover art, BMW apps)
4) Center console trim (black)
5) 2013 Maps Upgrade (purchased in 2013)
See the BimmerTech web site for detailed information on each of the packages. Coding would need to be purchased separately from Patryk at Bimmertech. I discussed with him already and he is happy to provide this service (for a price...please contact him). He does an excellent job...codes the system remotely while talking with you through Skype.
My original equipment cost (not including coding) was around $3500. I looked at the other ad you listed, and $750 would not be enough to get me to spend the weekend removing the system and making my car that must less attractive to buyers. $1500-$2000 might.
I also have the mObridge MOST XM adaptor and XMD1000 satellite radio transmitter units, purchased separately for $840 new (PnP and integrates XM satellite radio with iDrive with OEM functionality). I'd be looking to get around $300-$400 for that.
