Many people, including myself, swear by the ContiComortKit which is similar to the M-Mobility Kit included with most E46 M3s.

As a precaution I also have AAA. Don't forget that you probably have BMW roadside assistance. Some people lug around a donut in the trunk, but most people likely think it takes up too much room. Lots of options. Prayer also helps with or without run flat tires
