The Cobb AP is WAYY different, that's an ECU flash. It overwrites your computer's code and substitutes it's own, to give you a lot more horsepower. I think it's similar to a Vishnu Procede, but it's a flash, not a piggyback.
The cable you need to do "coding" like little car settings here and there is less than $100. I just ordered one, and I am in upstate SC.
