I would assume that all BMWs would have active cruise control as standard.
The only way to verify is to set your cruise control and when you slowly approach a slower moving vehicle your car should automatically reduce speed to match the slower car's speed when it gets to a pre-defined distance.
But just in case it doesn't, keep your foot ready to hit the brake pedal. Only then will you know.
