I think I'm getting ready to attack this project.
Here is what I've gathered as well as questions for each section.
I will need to install the heating elements into the seats.
1) I have sport seats. The kit 61110400883 / 61110405003 is for non-sport seats. I don't really care about the thigh support being heated. Will this fit into sport seats? If not, should i just order the following for the sport seat heating elements?
Heating element, sports seat leather - 64116973943 $107.88
Heating element, sports backrest - 64117140539 $83.47
Heater element, thigh support - 64117138803 $20.88
2) If what I read on this thread is correct, I can skip replacing my current seat modules under my seat and instead install the two "mini" modules from the passenger side that is apart of the non-electric kit 61110400883. Has anyone tried this?
I've already installed the heated seat switch so I'm good to go there. I also have all the cables ready for my own programming.
I just need a little direction before I start dumping money into this project.
