It is tragic when an accident happens like this with a motorcyclist. I always try to be cautious and courteous when I see other riders. However, there are riders that deserve what is coming to them. Yesterday I had a rider pass me on my left on a 2 lane busy street (one lane each direction) and rode into the neutral zone (yellow diagonal stripes) to get to the left turning lane which I was going into as well. He then was adjusting his helmet with BOTH hands while still moving (riding with no hands) after he passed me. This kid is only wearing a helmet and shorts and a tshirt. Then he proceeded to barely make the left in front of a speeding car while I saw the car brake hard.
Moral of the story, be careful, be courteous, take control of as much as you can.
