I honestly don't know why it's still held here without renting it out or something. I went to the last two, the first year there were a ton of cars from the general public just parked there, and the second year we had idiots burning out, so a lot of us bailed within a couple hours.
Seems like a big enough meet now that it's worthy of doing it properly. Hell, a group of about 20 of us just got kicked out of an empty park lot by a park ranger last week. Hopefully it doesn't happen here, but you always run the risk with unofficially taking over a spot like this.
