The paperwork takes about 30 minutes when you pick up the car. You are just signing paperwork that you have taken delivery of the car, then sign insurance papers and tell you what you need to do to make sure you stay covered under their policy. I think that they also have to make you sign the registration of the temp. plates on the car, and the date that you car has to leave the country (usually 1 month after picking it up). So it is pretty painless. Finding the drop of location was a little more tricky (but I had the nav which helped a lot), and the process also took about 20-30 minutes. Make sure that you have ALL your keys and fobs with you. The guy will inspect your car for any damages, and then you sign a couple sheets of paper and you are done. You can take the front plate home w/ you if you want, and the other should come back with the car to the US.
