I have a 328i xdrive and paid $3400 for the extended warranty (I have no Nav) that covers me up to 200k kms , unlimited time. I love my BMW but only bought it because I was able to get a good warranty with it.. else I wouldn't have touched it.
From what I have read on this forum thus far, it seems that the issues the creep up tend to be mechanical in nature rather than electronic (ie. Nav), but perhaps 335 owners should chime in.
