You can't beat the feeling of winter specific tires during the few months that we need them here in NE.. but if you dont have the space to store them, or dont want to deal with the est. $100 to swap tires ever time. Then just ride out the winter on your Oems driving a little more cautious than normal.
The tires do 'OK' in snow, ice and hills in the winter.. The one gripe that I had are that they eventually wear unevenly, cup and ride like crap.
