If you are late it takes a huge toll on me. I have to wake up every day to work at 4:45am and to be able to do so I need to go to bed early. I cannot afford waiting for you until 10PM when you said you will be there at 7.
If you say you will be there at 7, be there at 7 or even earlier. If you are more than 30 minutes late I will refuse to code your car.
I live in the Bronx. It's easy to get here from Westchester, White Plains, and most of the CT (if i95 isn't standing still). It takes 60 to 90 minutes to get here from Brooklyn. Jersey? Hard to guess, depends GWB. CAREFUL on Cross-Bronx once you cross the bridge, watch the potholes.
So keep all of that in mind when you text me with date and time you want to come over, give yourself plenty of time. I'd rather you be early than late.

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE TEXTING, CALLING OR PM'ING ME

My number s 347-560-3731. Please no calling texting at night (12am-6am), have respect. I don't always answer the phone but try to reply to texts within few hours.

Cars that I can code
1 series: 2008-2012 E81, E82, E87, E88
3 series: 2006-2012 E90, E91, E92, E93
5 series: 2006-2010 E60, E61
6 series: 2004-2010 E63, E64
M series: 1, 3, 5, 6
X series: 2004-2012 E70, E71, E72, E82
Z series: all
Mini: 2004-2011 R55, R56, R57
Rolls Royce: theoretically Phantom, Ghost and Goodwood. I demand a ride if you come in one of these
NO F SERIES CARS AT THIS POINT

Depending on your car's build date, some (or unfortunately a lot on 2006) of the things listed below will not be possible to code.

Things that I can do:
As of January 2012

Restraint:

1) Turn off seatbelt chime for driver, passenger or both. You will still get a little red seatbelt light in your cluster.
2) Disable "fasten your seatbelt" reminder.
3) Disable passenger occupancy mat (if you get seatbelt dong with no one in the passenger seat. Overrides by previous option).
4) Disabling of individual airbags and airbag errors (if you run with no airbag, e.g. race cars or sport seats). Disabling SRS system as a whole.
Navigation / iDrive (CIC = new iDrive that came in 09+ cars, CCC is the "old" iDrive)

1) Disable iDrive legal disclaimer on startup (both CCC and CIC).
2) Disable legal disclaimer for backup camera (both CCC and CIC).
2) Add lock/unlock beep and flash menus for alarm (CCC only, need alarm hardware preinstalled).
3) Add a fuel stop suggestion option (CIC only).
4) Enable DVD in Mоtion for CIC. I get asked a lot - no, it's NOT possible to watch DVD on older iDrive without installing aftermarket equipment.
Car Access Related:

1) Rolling of windows and sunroof up and down with the keyfob.
2) Folding and unfolding the mirrors with the keyfob.
3) Unlock doors when key is removed / car is turned off (won't have to pull the door handle twice).
4) Allow one touch operation of the windows while the door is open.
6) Allow remote opening/closing of motorized tailgates on X5, X6 and 7 series.
7) Allow one-touch operation of sunroof (mainly for Minis and 1 series).
8) Closing and opening of the convertible top with the keyfob.
Lighting Related:

1) Amber corned delete: turn off amber corner light when headlights or parking lights are on.
2) Welcome light activation (ONLY on 2007.25+). Fading or instant on for angel eyes, corner lights, fog lights, rear fog lights, rear tail lights, rear brake lights, parking lights, high and low beams.
3) Turn off daytime running lights on rear taillights.
4) Double blinking ("euro") emergency lights (2007.25+ only, on some 2010+ cars this works only with the ignition on).
5) Turn off cold or hot monitoring for any lights (to remove errors for non-OEM equipment such as LED or HID lights).
6) Fog lights stay on with high beams or bi-xenon flashing.
7) Switch high-beam flashing from the inner halogen bulb to bi-xenons on E90 and E91 (2007.25+ only).
8) Switch DRL on E90 and E91 from inner halogen bulb to Angel Eyes (2007.25+ only).
8) NEW - Make the rear fog lights work in tandem with brake lights. Abnormally-bright brake lights!
9) Coding LCI taillights on pre-LCI. Get rid of errors and fast blinkers.
10) NEW disable angel eye dimming on coupes and 1 series. The AE's will always be at 100%. Save hundreds on H8 LED's!
11) NEW, 1M only. Turn off AE and have only the light strip on. Turn on AE back at your discretion by turning DRL in iDrive.
12) NEW 2010+ only. Use fog lights as cornering lights example video.
13) NEW 2010+ only. Turn on "Follow me home" lights from a keyfob, example video.
Cluster Related:

1) Disable “key in ignition” gong.
2) Add the digital speedometer to non-M cars (V=## mph) in addition to existing options, example video.
3) Remove the correction on digital speedometer, it'll show the "real" speed but the two speedometers will not match

4) Add instantaneous digital MPG to M cars in addition to existing options.
5) NEW Choose your automatic headlight sensor sensitivity for those with no iDrive. Get rid of over-sensitive automatic headlights!
6) NEW Turn on EffecientDynamics on cars with manual transmission. Tells you when to switch gears for optimal gas mileage (manual transmission, 2007+ only), example video.
7) NEW Have the cluster backlight work at all times.
8) NEW Disable low temperature warning.
Misc:

1)Read and clear BMW-specific codes for engine, transmission, restraint, accessories and such.
2)Retrofit BMW OEM equipment. HD radio, satellite radio, alarm, Euro lights, etc
3)Disabling malfunctioning systems such as EDC, PDC, TPMS, ABS and such.
4)Have the windshield wipers complete the cycle and park when you shut the car off.
Advanced coding and programming:
Please PM or text me to schedule appointment for any of the following options.

1)NEW & EXPERIMENTAL. M5/M6 only with SMG Flash European firmware for the SMG tranny. 4k rpm launch control with auto shift at red line in S6, default S5 / D1 settings from cold start (US default S3/D3), smoother / quicker shifts between gears.
2)E46 M3 only: retrofitting M-track mode
3)New cluster retrofit (such as M3 cluster on an regular 3 series)
4)Changing VIN numbers on any of the modules (DME, KOMBI, FRM, etc)
5)Resetting airbag and restraint systems.
"2007.25" means car's build date is after April 2007. You can check your build date on black metal plate affixed to driver's door jam where you VIN number is. The four number in left upper corner is your build date. For example 12/06 is December 2006.

------------------------------------

I can comfortably code a car or two a day during weekdays and no cars during the weekend (I have a life too, you know ). Slot during the weekdays is between 7PM and 9PM.

I'm located in the Bronx, NY right next to the Zoo

Since I don't charge anything I'm not liable for any and all possible damage and will have you sign a waiver before coding.
Worry not though! In 400+ that I've coded I have not had a single coding-related error.

Q/A

Q: How come you don't charge anything?
A: It's something that I like to do. And I like helping people out. While I do appreciate tiрs, I will never ask you for money. Also I cannot officially accept payments on this forum since I'm not a "vendor".

Q: Will I lose the coding if I go to a dealer?
A: If they update software on your car then most likely yes. Think of it like reinstalling Windows on a PC. Every time you do that you lose everything and need to reconfigure everything from scratch.

Q: Will it void my warranty?
A: Probably no. Dealers don't really care for coding as it's not really modifying the car, but rather exploiting its full potential. I brought my own car to service with very obvious coding (front and rear foglights turn on when you unlock the car, M digital speedo, etc) and they never said a word. But as always with things like that your mileage may vary.

Q: How long it takes?
A: 15-20 minutes for everything

Q: Can you code .... for me?
A: If it's in the list then yes, if not then most likely no. While I can research on how to do something I'm not comfortable experimenting on other people's cars. Every single thing on the list I did to my car to test first.

Q: Is it reversible?
A: Yes but only for me or another "coder". There's no easy way for you to reset it.

Q: Are you legit?
A: Read the damn thread.
Man you are absolutely phenomenal.
Could you do remote coding for my 2010 E93, LCI upgrade coding?
Thanks
