Neither do I. My old car went in for MOT and Inspection. They said the inspection would cost £200 or something. I kept asking, is it even necessary, you have just done the MOT to show that the car is road worthy. The guy reeled off some checks they do, like that you have 4 wheels, they point in the same direction, except of course the front two that need to be movable by some wheel device or something.
There was the mention of checking of the chassis for any wear and tear, but I wasn't convinced that this was £200 of work especially as most of the items they check are identical to the MOT and the service guy even admitted this himself!
