Just ran across this thread. I have these tires on my ZHP. I have 235/40/18s all around. The exact same problem as the OP. Fronts look like new 20K miles later. The rear have the same characteristics on both sides. Worn what I would call a little prematurely AND have the same wear in the middle and not so much in the sides.
Given that the balance on these cars is 50/50 I would think the RWD is the major contributor into the mix. BTW my alignment is dead on the spec all around. I drive somewhat aggressively. What's odd to me is not the wear but the inconsistent wear
