Can't work out headlights that were submerged in sea water my friend based on the location of the seller. These were probably Sandy parts being sold from a car that's was totaled. Anything with electric circuit boards sitting in sea water will be defective. Fresh water if dried will not leave Any residue after. Salt water would make it cloudy and filmy as hell. I feel bad for you as this kid that sold it knew what he was doing outright.
