I've used cone k&n filters and flat ones with no problems, before install I always get my big leaf blower and blow the opposite direction for a while and use the nylon k&n cover. *Won't it restrict?* honestly no, it's hairline thin, gets your fine dust off and repels water awesome. I'd say 4k miles still looks brand new.
My next filter to try is Green Filter cones but haven't found the right size inlet flange yet. This is for gruppe-m replica intake not eurobox/PI.
