Would you say the ride quality is rougher, improved or the same?

I just don't want to put the bilsteins on and find that the ride quality is even worse than stock. If it's firmer but bumps and road imperfections are more muted and not as jarring, I'm probably OK with that. I just don't want a teeth chattering, super harsh ride. It's already pretty firm, but what kills me is the firmness of the stock suspension doesn't also come with good handling!
