stay with BMW...
as i said, just go on the website, stick in the registration number... stick the excess up fairly high, get rid of breakdown cover (add it to car insurance for like £35) and pay monthly

obviously you want your car to be perfect, but my view on this warranty on the 5yr old car with over 80k on the clock i just got rid of (patchy service history too!) was just get it to cover the big expensive things i.e. electrical system failure, iDrive/nav fucking up etc... everything else just take it to a local BMW indi
slightly different story if you have a FBMWSH, but i didn't so it was an easy choice
