YOUR math does not compute...
ET35 + 12mm spacer = ET23...
ET35 + 10mm spacer = ET25...
Aka, math is good.
And in your case of misreading:
12mm spacer on a ET23 = ET11
10mm spacer on a ET25 = ET15
Spacers MINUS from the POSITIVE offset, not ADD.

Imagine a very UN-aggressive wheel with ET45, you put a 20mm spacer on it, does it make it a ET65 wheel? Aka, does it make it even LESS aggressive?...
