That's because it's very rare to be able to hear them side by side.
Since I work at a dealership and have a Vanguard, I have requests ALL THE TIME from people who bought the PE to listen to them side by side (I have no problem with that).
Maybe 1 in 5 don't walk away doubting their PE purchase. The PE just sounds dirty in comparison. IMO, a vanguard with a catless dp sounds like a Ferrari 355 mixed with a FBO Supra. Deep, smooth idle but exotic WOT sounds with tons of pop and gurgle on decel and throttle lift off.
You guys are gonna make me take a video. Sadly, I only have a crappy iPhone 4S to shoot with, and I'm not sure it will do either exhaust justice. Actually, if anyone has any tips for posting a video shot with iphone to youtube that would be great - I'm a newb with that stuff and the last time I tried it, the only way I could make it a reasonable size was to make it horrible resolution (looked like an Atari game, and the sound sucked).
