I would shoot you where you stood if I caught you trying to steal my Vanguard.
I get to do back to back comparisons all the time (I work at a dealer, and the PE is more popular here, obviously). No one who has listened to them both thinks the PE sounds better. Back to back, the PE sounds raspy and unrefined - almost tin-canny.
That being said, the Vanguard is definitely louder. Cold start is really loud, but once warm is totally livable.
Windows down through a downtown section or tunnel is pure sex. The vanguard really shines on an N55 (vs N54).
