Yes its ok, as many XIs come staggered, come to think of it the x5 is also staggered.
There is no effect on x Drive As long as the overall rolling diameters of the front and rear tires are within 1%. that being said i am not within 1% and have been fine!, ( mine rims and tires are 235/35/19 (9.5) front and 265/30/19 (10) ET24) There is a calculator online somewhere to figure out the rolling variance! hope this helps
