dont know about B8 reliability, but loaded they are nice cars. B7s were just as reliable as 3-series, minus oil burning
6-speed, premium, sport, and possibly s-line pkgs are a must on A4s. tune that with APR or GIAC and you got yourself a pretty fast AWD car.
