I had it on the car for a few hundred miles and it was fantastic - until I blew a tire (hit an enormous pot hole) and had to call BMW. "Just take it out before service" wasn't really an option at that point... Luckily they didn't open/look too hard under my hood, but I didn't like thinking that a curious tech could easily identify the JB4 and seriously complicate warranty claims/resale.
Soo back to PPK for me.
