My car came with the oem alarm and I have it set through iDrive to make the two beeps when unlocking and the single beep when locking. Well this morning I went to get coffee, and it worked fine...but when I got back in and drove to work and locked it at work, it didn't make any noise at all. After the first instance, I noticed the clown nose blinked very rapidly as if my trunk were open maybe. And again after unlocking and locking a second time, still no beep. Maybe the trunk is actually open? I'm too lazy to go back down to the garage right now from the office.
