If I do remember correctly, if you wanted to submit your photo, basically through flickr you tag your image with "BMW3SeriesShowcase" and if they want to use your image, they will contact you through flickr mail with a electronic contract agreeing to release your image to BMW.

I was really surprised because when they contacted me I didn't even know about the submission thing. they just emailed me with the electronic contract. I guess they did that to just get the ball rolling and have people spread the word by mouth.
