The sport line or sport package F30 are the only F30 thats still drives somewhat like a BMW, the rest of the F30 drives like a Camry.
As far as the I4 feeling like a V8, forget it
It sounds like a Honda Civics and feel more like a V6 at best. The N55 feels more like a V8.
