I can shed some light on this matter. As a former owner of a 2007 335i with a JB3 and DCI, the 2009 and later Cayman S with the PdK transmission would be right with or ahead until about 70mph. After that, my old 335 would walk away. That said, the N55 with a JB4 along with his other mods should be fairly close to my 2007 in horsepower.
The PDK is a real difference maker, especially with launch control. One thing I came to realize is that racing around a track is a lot of fun and more challenging than just a straight line race.
My Cayman S, however is not stock and has a flash tune, Evolution Motorsports intake and a Remus race exhaust. I would probably be good for about a 12.6 at 112 in the quarter mile.
