If the weather is nice this weekend (which it seems it never is in Pittsburgh in spring), I'll get some good outside shots with my DSLR.

I followed this to take off the bumper cover:

Then you simply unsnap the old grilles and snap in the new ones. I surmise that you could remove the belly shield and try to replace the grilles while the bumper cover is still attached, but I have access to a lift and pneumatic tools so taking off the whole cover was a breeze.
