They work completely independent of each other. Usually, the start psi on the meth controller (10-11psi) is higher than the boost you build during 6AT procede launch (6-7psi). If you built more boost for some reason or have your max psi on your meth controller (or injection mode setting) set low enough, meth can start flowing during launch as well. Which means you could certainly transition towards map2. No issuye either way.
