Question Real Carbon or 3m Di-Noc?

Ok so I have been looking at either adding some carbon fiber parts to the exterior of my car or going with the 3M Di-Noc film instead. I would like to do the grille, pillars, and mirrors.

Is the Di-Noc film easy enough to work with for a novice? Will the result be satisfactory? Obviously the benefit here is the cost, but should that be the only motivator for not going with real carbon trim pieces?

Give me your thoughts. Thanks.
