But, at those prices, it forces you to go aftermarket. Some parts you know are simply inflated for the brand. OT but I still can't get over being quoted £400 for installing an ipod cable. Seriously, it's a cable.

But things like diffusers, splitters, sterring wheels etc... you buy from BMW, you should get it installed there. If the parts are coming in with decent margins then BMW should look at throwing in fitting, or at least subsidising it, to make it more attractive.
