It's a global bimmerforums issues. Admin are aware of it as same thing going on for them.
It's going to be one of.. Database too big for mysql at this point, general bandwidth - or CPU utilisation.
Bimmerforums is a very large site after all now. I imagine it's the database read/writes taking the time up.
I'm sure they are on top of it ..
