Just got my lip, hoping to install it soon. I just got mine through tischer unpainted, and i seemed a lot lighter (and flimsy) than I had expected, even though i knew it was just plastic...maybe it's because it's unpainted still.
the windex trick works, so I'd recommend it. its also helpful to have someone help you so you can get it on there flush. after using the double-sided tape and getting it lined up, the screws were tightened, and I drove away. it never moved when I checked later in the day, so its on there very tight.
