I've commuted everywhere in SoCal, and lived almost everywhere. Here are some locations where the CHP is always looking to nail you:
- Any toll road, especially on the often steep downhill portions, such as the North 241 from the toll plaza to the 91, and the south 241 from the toll plaza to the 261.
- The 405 between the 5 and Culver
- The 5 through Camp Pendleton down through North SD County
- The 15 from Temecula to Escondido
- The 210 from Pasadena up through Sylmar
- The 133 Northbound when you come out of Laguna Canyon right before the 405
