I think the sunroof in the front and and the glass roof panel in the rear could be stripped out and replaced with carbon fiber, plexiglass, or fiberglass for substantial weight savings in the roof area. I have doubts that anyone makes those panels. Another solution is just have a body shop remove everything and make custom roof panels of steel to close it off, even if they have to weld it in.
