may 18 x 9 all around would be OK

if I did that, could I use 225's in the front and 255's in the rear with 18 x 9 all around?

yeap the higher the offset number, the more it will push the wheel inside the well.

you can do 18x9 all the way around depending on offset (18x9 40 should work) but you cant fit 225 on the front 18x9 wheels.

235 could fit with a stretching, 245 would definatly fit on a 9" rim tho
