Your final cost will not just depend on the rims you get, but also the size of the rim; whether it is staggered etc. because that directly translates to the price of the tires as well.
18X8 squared setup with 225/35 all round = cheaper overall.
vs.
19X8/9.5 staggered with 225/35 and 265/30 = much cheaper combo, esp. for tires.
