People on this thread are saying water got into their cowl and burnt out the motor...it wouldn't be a coincidence that these cowl filters leaked in water and burnt out the motor. Also, I see a lot of mentions about the resistor being the culprit and not the motor. Is that the white piece that attaches to the motor?
I replaced mine and nothing, check the shaft and lubricated it.
