Keep in mind the X5 weighs about 1500 lbs more than your 335. You're going to feel that no matter what motor you have in it.
I will say though that the X5M motor makes some great noises. Almost defies physics...but it still weighs 2.5 tons.
You'll be hard pressed to find any SUV that can come even close to feeling like one of the best all around sport sedans in the world.
