‘06 E90 325xi N52, on my normal driving which usually is a 40% city 60% highway mix, I usually average around 20-21 MPG, usually end up getting very close to 300 miles a tank. On a road trip I did from Chicago to Arkansas, I was able to achieve 28 MPG while averaging 85-90 mph for a couple hours. On my way back, I filled up half way from Arkansas to Chicago which is 250 miles. By the time I got home I used only half a tank to get from halfway point to my house in Chicago. So theoretically the fact that these cars can achieve nearly 500+ miles in one tank on highway miles is truly amazing, especially for a car that’s nearly 12 years old. Inline 6’s FTW!!
