As far as I can tell this thread is the most knowledgeable information base of N55 PPK users
, so I would like to hear your experiences on the following:
Many of you report that the car gets louder after PPK installation; I drive my N55 with a PE since a year now and like it a lot (European model, therefore exhaust flap still in place).
As far as the people report here the exhaust switch is less often closed with the PPE; however, this might be a good thing at lower speed / when accelerating, but isn't it annoying at higher (70...90mph) speeds?
My question therefore: did your cars get louder in this speed-range as well?
Or did the BMW-Engineers think about that and leave it active there?
