Same thing started happening to mine yesterday. Today it's just completely black. I was thinking that maybe it was a power supply issue (maybe a loose connection or short) as it would "pop" and then turn off and then try to reboot and I could get it to turn on and off by wiggling some of the wires that run back to it. I'm set to go to the dealer on Tuesday, but this thread is not making me optimistic.
