If the car has a full BMW service history BMW will usually cover the cost of parts and you have to pay the labor (which is still expensive). Alternatively you get the BMW warranty and they pay the lot. The choice is yours, stick £600+ in the bank every year and hope that if something breaks after 3 years £1800 covers it, or get the warranty and not have to worry.
