One other thing is that for the U.S. economy this is actually good news compared with the current assembly situation.. Lots of parts for these 3 series would come from the U.S. side since our economies are so tightly integrated. Much more than if 3 series production continues solely in Germany and SA.
Mexican suppliers already provide a lot of parts for the existing BMW Spartanburg plant.
