one of the mods i've been wanting ever since i bought my car were upgraded LED angel eyes. i felt the e92 optics bmw chose for the pre-lci e92 were garbage. i couldn't rationalize $600-700+ in parts and labor for OSS/Umnitza. I finally came across an amazing deal on a set for $150. Decided to bite the bullet, give the DIY a shot and these were the results. overall i'm extremely satisfied on the quality.
we blacked out the corners, and all silver shrouds around the projector and lamps. used a heat gun instead of an oven since there was no oven at the shop. total time took 7 hours, but after going through the process, we could probably knock it out in 3-4 hours. these are BRIGHT, i could run these alone at night, but with my full HIDs on + nokyo 3k fogs, the overall night time view has increased substantially.
